Hi, my name is Paul Justice and I began research for my book entitled, Sodom: Five ancient cities beginning in 2006. As a Bible Scholar the story of Sodom and Gomorrah has always intrigued me, mainly because the story has had a profound influence throughout human history. In this retelling of a classic tale, Abram and his followers escape the land of Ur, ruled by the followers of the moon god Sin. Their journey to a new land is fraught with tragedy and conflict as disillusionment overcomes the band. Tempers flare and Abram's nephew Lot departs for the paradise of the Valley of Siddim, sparkling with five bustling Canaanite cities—among them the infamous Sodom. Abram, however, remains in the mountains under the protection of his god Yahweh. Lot strikes an unholy deal with Sodom's King Bera, and only Abram's help can save him.
